I want to thank the Oconto County Democratic Party for their support of
my campaign. Parts of Marinette County, Oconto County and northern Brown
County are in the 89th Assembly District, and I will be proud to
represent all of us.

Back from a great vacation and ready to do anything that I need
to do to win the election.
I NEED YOUR HELP in any way you can.
According to Paul Wellstone there are 3 things necessary to win an
election: time, people and money, and they are the most scarce.
TIME
is flying! I have to reach 20,000 people. Tell your friends.
PEOPLE
can help me. Multiple hands divide time.
MONEY can buy printing,
signs, postage...
Facebook is about friends, I hope you will ask
me for something someday, as I am asking you today.
Thanks, Bob.

Well it is official, I just got my letter from the GAB, they confirmed
that I have 296 acceptable signatures on my nomination papers! (200 were
required) Thank you to everyone who helped me collect them. Now let's
work together to win the seat. Thanks again, Bob.

Hi everyone. Many of you may not be aware of this, but running for
Assembly is in essence, self funded. I must rely on donations from
family and friends, especially early in the campaign.
I need printed
materials, simple hand outs with my name & why vote for Bob. Please
help with any amount you can afford, it's easy on my website:

. I need to get this done asap, thank you very much! Bob

Why Bob Orwig
1. New jobs - That being said, Bob’s goal is to make
Wisconsin’s public schools the best schools in the country. Bob will
fight for the rights of our local schools, so even with declining
enrollment they will get the same opportunities as schools in the big
cities. This is what will attract new business and lead to meaningful
local jobs.
2. Bob will represent our community first, vote FOR
our benefit- not AGAINST another party.
3. Take advantage of all
of our resources respectfully, including promoting tourism.
4.
Get the tax burden off the backs of the middle class and insure that
everyone who makes money in Wisconsin pays their fair share.
5.
Unify the local community of Democrats, Progressives, and other common
sense folks, with the opportunity to speak with one voice against the
angry wails of the right.
-June 27
I want
to bring together our local Democrats, Progressives, Liberals, Greens,
and folks with common sense values who want to put the people first.
Without a common goal, we are scattered voices against a shouting horde
of organized anger. It's time to get over past indiscretions and slights
real and perceived. Infighting and factions within groups of common
minded people only strengthens the opposition.
Are we
willing to just sit by and watch the
radical right take over, one seat at a time, from local assemblies
through the national leadership? They are doing it. They are organized.
They are LOUD. They are well funded. Even their public outbursts are
scripted.
Our voices can become a chorus of positive
action, juxtaposed to the drone of an angry rage.

A call to arms! The June 30th reporting period
is the most important date of my campaign (other that Nov.2). In order
to be considered a "viable" candidate, I need ++ funding in my account. Your generosity is appreciated.
Thanks, Bob.

"We've got no time to lose, lets not get caught
up in yesterday. There's so much we have to do to change things for the
children. Everywhere I go, I hear people crying, and there's no reason
why, if we make up our minds, we can all change the world." Bob Orwig
from his song "Calm After the Storm"
